Choosing to use certified raw materials means guaranteeing that the forests from which they originate are managed in a responsible way, avoiding excessive exploitation and practices harmful to the environment, outside the circuits of international trade in illegally felled timber: forests in which the rights of the local population and the workers are respected, in which the conservation of biodiversity is a priority; forests in short that are protected.
